I’m 48, a full-time mum to three daughters, and I keep a slightly-too-small, very-much-loved house here in Scotland. If there’s one thing my girls will tell you about me, it’s that I can’t leave a room alone — I’m always moving a chair, swapping cushions, or hunting down the perfect warm lamp.
I’m truly passionate about all things home. Give me a free Saturday and you’ll find me restyling the living room, potting up the garden borders, or dreaming up the table for our next family gathering. I love exploring new ideas — seasonal touches through the year, little styling projects for birthdays and holidays, and finding beauty in the everyday corners of our home and garden.
My love for decorating started young, rearranging my childhood bedroom every other month (much to my mother’s despair). These days that same joy goes into every part of our home — cosy autumn corners, a spring bulb display I’m far too proud of, twinkling Christmas trees, and summer evenings in the garden under fairy lights.
Everything I share here is real-home tested: budget-friendly ideas, renter-friendly tricks, and projects you can actually finish in a weekend between school runs and Sunday roasts. No perfect showrooms — just a lived-in home that feels like a hug.
